Okcheon-ri is a village in Okcheon-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Satancheon Stream flows along the village and flows into the Namhangang River. There are several wells as clear as jade, so it was called Okcheonri. In 1914, part of Daewol-ri, Gyochon-ri, and Satan-ri were merged and formed according to the merger of administrative districts. Natural villages include Daewol-ri, Seopdari, Okteo, and Changmal (sand rapids, Satan-ri). Daewol-ri is also called Dongbu because it is located on the eastern side of Okcheon-ri. Seopdari is a village to the south of Hyanggyo Village and was named because there used to be Seopdari. The prison site used to be the site of a prison in Yanggeun, west of Goeup, but it is now a blacksmith shop. Changmal is a village to the south of the old town, and was named because there was a sandy shoal and a brothel.
Located in a model village established by Yangpyeong-gun in 1999, the 55-year-old Okcheon Naengmyeon noodles are thick, chewy, and bouncy, and the taste is even more delicious when eaten with Korean beef meat and round peas. Currently, there are about 20 restaurants in Naengmyeon Village.
